Family Tree
A family tree is a genealogical diagram of the ancestors and descendants of a family. It is the written record of family history. This record is created and maintained either by the members of that particular family or by various organizations. The family tree gives a detailed outline of a particular family and can convey its historical and social background.
The other form of a family tree is a pedigree chart, and it consists of a chart depicting the relationship between individuals. All important family events (births, marriages, deaths, etc ) are listed in a family tree. This gives families an idea of the structure of the family in the past and present, and is an exciting snapshot in time to be cherished for generations.
